Keyboard Shortcuts Generally asked in CCC Exam:- Keyboard Shortcuts or simple Shortcuts keys, as their name suggests are the key combinations that provide a shortcut of navigating and executing a command in computer software programs. You can speed up to computing experience by using more shortcut keys. Shortcut keys are usually accessed by using the Alt Key(on IBM compatible PC), Command Key(on Apple Computers), Ctrl Key (pronounced as control key), Shift Key in conjunction with another key. In general typing, a shortcut key combination is done by a modifier key, a plus symbol, and another key. For Example (Ctrl + s) tells you to press and hold the Ctrl key and then press the S key too.
- Ctrl + Shift + Esc –Opens Windows Task Manager in Windows 2000 and later.
- Ctrl + Esc –It Opens the Windows Start menu in most versions of Windows. But in Windows 8 opens the Start screen.
- Alt + Space bar –Shows window control menu for the currently open Windows program.
- Shift + Del –Will delete any file or other object without throwing it into the Recycle Bin.
- Hold down the Shift key When putting in an AutoRun CD, holding down the Shift key will prevent that CD from being AutoRun.
